Each summer, R/C Madness hosts one of the most exciting outdoor series in New England — the Five-Sunday Trophy Race Series on our RC Turf Track in Enfield, Connecticut.
This summer championship brings together racers from across the region to battle it out for round-by-round trophies and overall series points titles. The event runs exclusively on our purpose-built RC Turf Track, offering the perfect balance of traction, speed, and consistency for 1/10-scale off-road vehicles.

The R/C Madness RC Turf Track features a premium Astro Turf racing surface designed for high grip and smooth handling in all weather conditions. Unlike a traditional dirt surface, the turf allows for cleaner, more predictable racing, which means faster lap times and less maintenance between heats.
Drivers love the track’s flow — a mix of sweeping corners, technical infields, and controlled jump sections that reward both precision and patience. Whether you’re chasing your first win or battling for the series championship, the RC Turf Track provides a professional-level experience that keeps racing close and competitive all season long.

The Trophy Race Series includes the most popular 1/10 off-road RC classes, including 2WD Stock Buggy, 2WD Modified Buggy, 4WD Stock Buggy, Stadium Truck, and Short Course Truck. Each Sunday event awards trophies to the top finishers in every class, while cumulative points determine the overall series champions at the final round.
The series is designed to balance competition with fun — emphasizing clean driving, sportsmanship, and a friendly racing environment that welcomes all skill levels. Many racers use the RC Turf Track Trophy Series as a stepping-stone into larger regional or national events.

All races in the series feature LiveRC timing and scoring, professional track maintenance, and a fully staffed hobby shop on site for last-minute parts and supplies. Gates typically open by 9AM with racing beginning at 11AM, giving drivers plenty of time to practice and dial in setups before qualifying begins.
Weather delays and rain-outs are communicated promptly through our social media channels, and any makeup rounds are announced in advance to ensure fairness across the points standings.

If you’re looking for high-quality Astro Turf RC racing in a relaxed, competitive environment, the R/C Madness RC Turf Track Trophy Series is the perfect place to spend your summer Sundays.
